Hi Hillary and Ellen - I plan to post something here tomorrow (Wednesday) - I am new to creating my own GeoGebra applets so they will be a real work in progress! ~Kristen

Attached is a GGB file illustrating left and right limits of a function at a point.  I plan to add more functions (piecewise and other) and then will make it an html file.  The point about which we are looking is labeled as "c".  I used version 4.0:  Limits1_KRS_v40.ggb  (~Kristen)

Here is another file on limits using a piecewise function (updated 07/15/11  2:15pm CST): Limits2_KRS_v40.ggb  (~Kristen)

(This is Hillary) I tried a first version of what I'm trying to do.  What I'd really like to do is have it somehow record the values of the slope to the spreadsheet at some different points so that students can look at a list of values and estimate the limit that way, but I'm having some trouble getting that to work right.  SecantHRE.html

I'm new to GeoGebra, too. What sorts of ideas do the two of you have for this assignment?

I will focus on ideas from first semester Calculus since I am teaching it this fall. We start off with limits - so I am creating an applet related to that.
