GeoGebra resources on the Web

Besides the main wiki, forum, and other resources at geogebra.org, there are a number of very nice resources for GroGebra on the web.

  1. Collections of Applets
    1. My collection of GeoGebra applets is at http://www.slu.edu/classes/maymk/GeoGebra/
    2. Mark Renault has a very nice collection of GeoGebra Applets for Calculus that work through much of the material in a standard calculus sequence.  He also has a collection of GeoGebra applets for other courses.
    3. Daniel Menrtard has a wonderful collection of applets at
http://dmentrard.free.fr/GEOGEBRA/Maths/accueilmath.htm.  The site is in French, but you can let the pictures guide you.
    4. Doug Kuhlmann has a nice collection of GeoGebra files for courses from algebra II through calculus.
    5.
    6. The Educational Development Center in Maine has an OER project that has developed a very large collection of nice material.  There home page is at http://maine.edc.org/. At the bottom of the home page is a link for downloading a zipped collection of several hundred of files.  A gentler  The material can be found in the project recourses of the OER page at http://maine.edc.org/file.php/1/oermath.html.
  2. Tutorials
    1. Guillermo Bautista has a series of tutorials (more than 50) on using GeoGebra.
  3. Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/geogebra
  4.

There are a number of html tutorials available on the web. (a second tutorial, a third tutorial, a fourth tutorial) For the most part you should be able to avoid learning html by using a WYSIWYG editor, but at some point you will want to tweak a page and it is good to be able to do that.
Javascript is a scripting language that can be used to make web pages dynamic. We are interested in it because GeoGebra is Javascript aware. In other words, it can be used to send commands to applets and to get information back out of the applet. Once again, there are javascript tutorials available when you have questions. (a second tutorial, a third tutorial)
